Creating an online blog is all about writing about what interests you, and what you feel other readers are going to enjoy reading and learning about. If you write a blog which is of interest to no one but you, what is the point in posting it online. The point of a blog is to get others to come on your blog site, read your blogs, and either agree or disagree with them, and leave you the feedback on the content you are posting. If there is no interation between you and the people who are reading your blog, then why would you want to post it in the first place?
Making sure that you have content that others will relate to is really something to keep in mind. If you cannot find a niche target group to read your work, you might as well keep a journal at home, because you are the only one reading the content anyway. So, when thinking up blog topics, you are going to want to pick things which are relevant to readers, and something which interests you (and others), and you are going to want to write in an interactive format for readers.
